Dando cumplimiento a su Plan de Desarrollo “Unidos Generamos Progreso”, el alcalde Yecith Ángel Romero, durante los dos años de su gobierno, con su liderazgo y gran capacidad de gestión, a logrado unir su trabajo y el de su equipo de gobierno con el de la gestora social Claribel Cubillos, el Concejo Municipal, El Personero, los Presidentes de las Juntas de Acción Comunal, los empresarios y los comerciantes, con la participación de la mayoría de la población, para lograr generar obras viales y sociales que muestran un progreso sostenible en el municipio de UNE.
